Francisco Lo Vuolo

Born in 1982, Francisco Lo Vuolo has been, for many years now, one of the most outstanding emerging talents of the thriving jazz scene of Santa Fe city. A graduate of the Berklee International Network of Buenos Aires, he studied with Ernesto Jodos, Guillermo Romero and Jorge Molina, among others. He honed his style with Fred Hersch and Marc Copland. He has performed with big names of the national and international scene, including Perico Sambeat, Conrad Herwig, Enrique Norris, Carlos Lastra, Luis Nacht, Mariano Otero, Rodrigo Domínguez, Juan Cruz de Urquiza, Pepi Taveira, Sergio Verdinelli, Ricardo Cavalli and Horacio Fumero. In addition to releasing Kuchiku (S-Jazz, 2005), his only solo album to date, he recorded with Mariano Otero, Luis Nacht and Horacio Fumero. At present he leads his own trio and is the pianist of the Santa Fe Jazz Ensamble and Mariano Otero’s quintet and nonet.
