Biography

Percussionist, drummer and composer Paolo Vinaccia was born in Italy in 1954. He moved to Norway in 1979. He has collaborated on over a hundred studio recordings. He has played and toured with Palle Mikkelborg, Mike Manieri, Jon Christensen, David Darling, Nils Petter Molvær, Ketil Bjørnstad, Terje Rypdal and Bugge Wesseltoft, Bendik Hofseth, Jan Eggum and Jonas Fjeld, among many others. Strie Strenger (2003), Film Ing (2004), Electra (2005), Receita para a vida (2006), Northern Light (2007), Glasstanker (2008) and Live at Belleville (2008) are some of the albums on which he appears.
