Biography

Pianist Johnny Glazer was born in the United States but lives in Buenos Aires. He plays the music of classics like Cole Porter, George Gershwin, Richard Rodgers and Antonio Carlos Jobim (Tom Jobim), among others. He has performed in Amsterdam, Paris, New York, Seattle, San Francisco and Italy. He conducted his own dance orchestra in Washington for ten years. In Buenos Aires, he has performed in a trio at café-restaurant Los 36 Billares and at the cultural center Domus Artis. He has also participated in the tribute to celebrate Erroll Garner’s 90th birthday at Teatro San Martín. He was awarded by the Jazzology series directed by Carlos Inzillo.
