Biography
Saxophonist, composer and teacher Ricardo Cavalli was born in Buenos Aires in 1969. He received a scholarship to complete his music studies at Berklee, Boston. He has five solo albums; the last one, Heart to Heart, features a collaboration with George Garzone; other titles are: For the Guv’nor Suite, La entrega, Súndaram and Trinidad. He has played with a number of musicians of the local scene and other countries. He created seminars for creative exploration and conducts improvisation clinics. At this year’s BAJ, he will perform in a trio with Ezequiel Piazza (drums) and Alan Zimmerman (keyboards).
