Biography

Jazz Gitano Ensamble was created in mid-2011. It is a project that draws from the manouche jazz style. It has performed extensively at various venues across the country and abroad. At this year’s BAJ, it will perform its first studio album, which blends jazz manouche with several other styles: swing, tango and bebop, among others. The ensemble is composed of Juan Klappenbach (saxes), Roque Monsalve and Pablo Vázquez (guitars), Lisandro Pejkovich (violin) and Marco Vaamonde Lin (double bass).
