The rich imagery of tango, inspired by its themes, its music, its real or fictitious and literary characters, encourages creators of different areas of the visual arts to produce works which, in time, will nourish the virtuous circle. Moreover, the decorative or functional applications of the tango iconography and aesthetics –through products of cultural industries- also have a space in the Dance World Cup and Festival.
