AND ALSO, A RIOPLATENSE-STYLE PARTY

Y ADEMÁS, HABRÁ FIESTA RIOPLATENSE

The small crowd filling the legendary stadium at Corrientes and Bouchard, apart from watching the competition for the world title in the Salon Tango category, will be able to enjoy a great Argentine-Uruguayan musical show featuring Rubén Rada, the Orquesta Típica del Río de la Plata and wonderful dancer Juan Carlos Copes. It will certainly be an unforgettable night.

Rada, almost as much Uruguayan as Argentine (here, in Buenos Aires, he developed a good part of a successful career spanning more than three decades), will perform the previously unheard tango song “Araca con el tango,” specially composed to celebrate the recognition of Tango as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. The Orquesta Típica del Río de la Plata will join the party with its excellent musicians from both countries and pianist Andrés Linetzky in charge of the arrangements and musical direction. To top it all off, the great Juan Carlos Copes will dance with his daughter Johana Copes.
