ARGENTINE VICTORY IN STAGE TANGO

Three Argentine couples stepped onto the podium of the Stage Tango category, after the great final held last night at the Luna Park Stadium, which was vibrant and full to the brim once again, like on the biggest nights of its rich history. The couple of Max Van De Voorde and Solange Acosta won the world title, the prize of 30 thousand pesos and a contract to go on a tour around Japan (in addition to having the privilege of dancing in front of the Tour Eiffel, in Paris, next Sunday 4).

The second place went to Cristian David Correa and Manuela Rossi, and the third place, to Eber Alejandro Burger and Yésica Lorena Lozano Elías. The very last night of Tango Buenos Aires Festival and Dance World Cup 2011 combined, once again, all the ingredients for an unforgettable night, thanks to the quality of the contestants, the excitement of the winners and the respect and fervor of the audience. To top it all off, Jairo, Pablo Agri’s quartet and Ana María Stekelman’s company added luster to one of the most comprehensive tango shows available in the world.
