RAÚL LAVIÉ Y ULTRATANGO's biography

Electronic music and tango have been intertwined by groups that used technology without breaking away from tradition, guided by the respect for the original forms. The quintet Ultratango is one of them. With ten albums released, the group composed of brothers Leo and Gastón Satragno (keyboards, piano, vocals and programming), Julio Pérez (bandoneon), Sami Abadi (violin) and Braulio D’Aguirre (percussion) combines the characteristic sound of the bandoneon with cutting-edge software, establishing an identity of their own based on the respectful approach to the genre. This time, Ultratango comes to the Festival to accompany Raúl Lavié, Gastón and Leo’s father. One of the greatest singers of his generation, he will perform songs from his repertoire under the modern take of the quintet, soon to celebrate its 10th anniversary.
