Synopsis
During one of his many tours through the Dutch country site, birdwatcher Warre stomps into a creature his big book of winged species has no record of. The little animal in question, so small it easily fits the palm of his hand, has a human body, red hair, and wings instead of arms. Without thinking it too much, Warre takes it back home to show it to his wife, Tine, trusting someone eventually will come knocking on his door to claim his strange and adorable finding. But the days go by and that never happens. And so, the story of Eep!, entitled by the protagonist’s nice warbling, becomes an adventure comedy about a different family (a bird-human one, put a name to it) in search of its everyday dynamic following the arrival of a new member. Because behind all those feathers and first aerial escapes, those bug lunches and morning crashes against the wall, there’s nothing, other than the troubled history of paternity.
