Andrés Beeuwsaert

Andrés Beeuwsaert is the responsible of Trío Aca Seca, along with Juna Quintero and Mariano Cantero, one of the most successful groups of the Argentine popular music with which he has already released three records. Besides, this pianist, born in Olavarria, has played and recorded with Joe Lovano, Fats Fernandez, Charly García, Mono Fontana, Hugo Fattoruso, among others. Between 2001 and 2005 he was part of Javier Malosetti’s trio and then he played the piano along with Pedro Aznar with whom he toured Latin America and Spain, apart from recording four albums. It’s been a long time since he has been composing and recording his own music. His first solo album is Dos Ríos. Nowadays, he plays with the Brazilian singer Tatiana Parra and at the same time he composes and plays with his own quartet. Fernando Silva (cellist born in Santa Fe), Víctor Carrión (saxophonist born in La Rioja) and Juan Pablo di Leone (flutist born in Buenos Aires) complete the group. All these musicians have shared experiences with important figures representing folklore and the rhythms of Rio de la Plata as well as with the popular Brazilian music, flamenco and jazz.
