GREAT CLOSING CONCERT

GRAN RECITAL DE CIERRE

Tonight, starting at 9 p.m., at CCC Teatro 25 de Mayo in Villa Urquiza, the BAJ.11 will close with a double bill: the group led by percussionist, drummer and composer Marilyn Mazur and Saiyuki, the trio headed by guitarist, bassist and programmer Nguyên Lê. At very affordable prices, tickets for this event are on sale at this website or on-site at the box office of Teatro Coliseo, starting at 7 p.m.

Marilyn Mazur was born in New York but moved to Denmark many years ago, where she established herself as a professional musician. High points in her career include playing in Miles Davis’s band between 1985 and 1989 and having accompanied Gil Evans and Wayne Shorter. On the other hand, the excellent French-Vietnamese guitarist Nguyên Lê will take us on a real journey across a borderless Asia: Vietnam, India and Japan, trio members’ native countries, indicate the vertices of a triangle in which diverse sounds blend into new forms.
