Biography

Pianist, composer and teacher Guillermo Romero was born in Buenos Aires in 1966. He has shared the stage with Joe Zawinul, Wynton Marsalis, Egberto Gismonti and John Scofield and played with Alex Acuña, Billy Drummond, Jeff Hirshfield, Conrad Herwig, Andres Boiarsky, Diego Urcola and Marco Panascia, among others. He has recorded with trumpeter Arturo Sandoval, and his trio backed clarinetist Eddie Daniels in a performance with the Philharmonic at the Colón Theater in Buenos Aires. He was awarded by the Metropolitan Fund for the Culture, Arts and Sciences in 2007 and by the National Fund for the Arts

in 2005.
