Biography

The Vivant Quartet is made up of Juan Klappenbach (sax), Ricardo Peryera (piano), Pablo Juárez (double bass) and Jorge Cacoliris (drums). Created in late 2008, the group plays a repertoire of standards, original compositions and adaptations of classic pieces in a cool jazz style. They have performed at the Jazz Club in Olivos, Auditorio SADEM, Teatro Auditorium in Mar del Plata, the Buenos Aires Jazz, and at the Auditorium of the Universidad Tecnológica Nacional. Cool Jazz is the name of the group’s first album, recorded and released during 2010.
