Biography

Guitarist Lucas Acuña was born in Córdoba in 1977. He studied with Kurt Rosenwinkel, Giuseppe Continenza and with Ed Verhoeff at the Rotterdam Conservatory, Netherlands. He has played with Eric Vloeimans, Klaas Hekman, Marcos Di Paolo, Facundo Guevara, Darío Iscaro, Giovanni Di Domenico, Soto Ntouvas, Marcos Baggiani, Benoit Martiny, Fulvia Di Domenico, Gonçalo Almeida and Greg Smith, among others. At this edition of the Buenos Aires Jazz, he will perform in a trio that plays all original music, with Cordoba-born double bass player Cristian Andrada and German drummer Wieland Möller.
