Orquesta del Tango de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires- 30 años Homenaje a Rubén Juárez's biography
The Orquesta del Tango de Buenos Aires will present a new record after 30 years of intense and fruitful work. Since their first performance – On February 2, 1980 at Casacuberta Hall, San Martín Theater- they have come a long way that positions them among the best orchestras in tango history. Originally directed by Carlos García and Raúl Garello, currently its directors are Garello, which continues along with Néstor Marconi and Juan Carlos Cuacci. The memory and sound of the Master Carlos García are present through his arrangements – an important part of this group’s repertoire – and the record that will be presented during this evening. As a final touch of this concert, the orchestra will perform a moving homage to Rubén Juárez, fundamental figure in tango history. In the aforementioned homage, Lucila Juárez –singer and daughter of the artist- will participate along with colleagues that shared stages and unforgettable evenings with the master.
