Rodolfo Mederos's biography

Through the band Generación Cero and solo albums such as Todo hoy, Buenas noches, Paula and Verdades y mentiras, the concertina player Rodolfo Mederos was a clear reference of the tango renewal of the seventies and eighties, proposing a vanguardist musical language and heterodox formations. A while ago, he gave a Copernican twist to his career working on tradition and the recovery of tango. This last mentioned topic is what this live presentation is all about: Rodolfo Mederos takes turns between the quintet, the trio and his very own typical orchestra, formations with which he recorded his last albums. There are special guests such as the singers Ariel Ardit and Lidia Borda. Leading the concertina players and with self arrangements and direction, Rodolfo Mederos will be accompanied in his typical orchestra by the musicians Javier Sánchez, Rodolfo Roballos and Fernando Taborda (concertina), Luis Sava, Eleonora Votti, María Cecilia García and Nicolás Tabbush (violins), Rubén Jurado (viola), Fernando Diéguez (violoncello), Armando De la Vega (guitar), Ariel Azcárate (piano) and Sergio Rivas (counter bass).
