Portal Tangocity's biography

www.tangocity.com will be launched in the framework of Tango Buenos Aires. The portal was created in 2000 as the website for the signal Solo Tango by Juan Fabbri, a businessman linked to this genre through several enterprises. The idea of the Tangocity portal is for it to become a site of international reference. It will be translated into 5 languages and CMD-Clarín Global will be in charge of its commercial management. The website will hold significant historical material through an agreement with the Tango National Academy that will digitalize around 30,000 scores besides its sound files. A series of thematic radio stations (for people interested in milonga, tangos of the world, etc) will be another of its services. This site bets on becoming tango´s social network also giving place to emerging artists.
