Horacio Molina's biography

As Carlos Gardel´s passionate admirer, the singer Horacio Molina qualifies him without doubting and in an amusing way as The Beast. But his devotion is also extensive to Gardel’s partner during the last years of his career: Alfredo Le Pera. Molina is now preparing a conceptual album exclusively dedicated to the work of the famous couple. The concert he brings to the festival is an advance of the album and, at the same time, a tribute to Le Pera, who besides song writer, was a journalist, theatre critic, playwright and, ultimately, Gardel´s fundamental allied in his rise as an international movie star. The show starts with a passage of the poem “Recordando” that Gardel was never able to record and also includes classics such as “Soledad”, “Arrabal amargo”, “Caminito soleado”, “El día que me quieras”, “Lejana tierra mía”, “Sus ojos se cerraron”, “Volvió una noche” and “Amores de estudiante”.
