Hugo Marcel con Triestango

His debut was with the Leopoldo Federico´s orchestra in 1957. He was 14 years old. In 1958 he goes through Miguel Caló´s orchestra and in 1959 he records with Osvaldo Fresedo, with whom he stayed for several years. In 1964, he sings with Mariano Mores going on tours throughout the interior of the country, he appears on television and carries out some recordings. Owner of a powerful voice that empowers him with unlimited expressive possibilities, that same year he abandons Mores and begins his career as a solo artist. Accompanied by Roberto Pansera, Atilio Stampone and Carlos Galván, since 1969, Hugo Marcel toured the United States, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Paraguay, Colombia, Venezuela and Mexico. In 1986 he performs with the Juan de Dios Filiberto Orchestra traveling to Madrid, Rome, Berlin, Brussels, Stockholm and Paris. One of the most important voices of tango nowadays, he performs, in this occasion, accompanied by the Italian quintet Triestango, in their fifth visit to Argentina.
