Jean-François Casanovas - Caviar Tempotango's biography

The shows by the French actor and director Jean-François Casanovas, creator of Caviar group, are characterized by the exquisite mixture of humor and glamour and for the singular quality of its quick-change artist performances. During three decades he worked with Oscar Araiz and Renata Schussheim in shows such as Fénix, Los siete pecados capitales, La dama de Monte Carlo and Cabalgata argentina. In his shows you can see winks to divas of the North American cinema as well as the anchorage in rhythms from different time periods. Called by the Festival to create a show focused on Tango, Casanovas presents Caviar TempoTango. Faithfull to his habits, he announces crazy interpretations of pieces such as “Celos”, “Andate”, “De hacha y tiza”, “Por una cabeza”, “La flor de la canela” and “El día que me quieras”. The cast is formed by Ignacio González Cano, Eduardo Solá, Marcelo Iglesias, TempoTango Theater Company and the De Atropellada Quintet, besides, of course, the very own Casanovas.
