Raúl Luzzi Ensamble's biography

In a manifestation of Buenos Aires music scene, without underestimating its past and roots, the guitarist Raul Luzzi presents RUBA (Urban Rhythms of Buenos Aires XXI century) with his own compositions and Mario Dobry’s – included in his last records virtual (2007) and Un sueño de horizonte (2008)-. They play all the classics with his quartet, that is formed by Daniel Naka (bass), Oscar D’Auría (percussion) y Nicolás Guerschberg (piano). Luzzi has worked with Osvaldo Berlingieri, José Colangelo, Osvaldo Piro, Domingo Moles, Carlos Fígari, Walter Ríos, Daniel “Pipi” Piazzolla and Oscar Cardozo Ocampo, among others. In 2002 he recorded with Ruben Juarez the “Album Blanco”. He has worked a lot with Lolita Torres. In countless TV shows he performed with Libertad Lamarque, Hugo del Carril, Roberto Goyeneche, Floreal Ruiz, Alberto Castillo, Daniel Riolobos, Guillermo Fernández y Raúl Lavié, among many others.
