Federico Mizrahi presenta Contratiempo y Marea

Federico Mizrahi introduces Contratiempo y marea
Federico Mizrahi, a pianist, music arranger and director, has just released his first CD as soloist, named Contratiempo y marea, which displays several particularities. The first one: the decision of recording instrumental tangos, waltzes and milongas of his own creation. The second one: the formation of an heterodox group made up of violin, viola, cello, double bass, clarinet, percussion and concertina. And the third one: although this is his first recording work, Mizrahi has been involved in Tango for several years. He arranged and directed the national operetta Lo que me costó el amor de Laura, of Alejandro Dolina, with whom he worked for several seasons. As theater music composer, he had the chance to meet Luis Longhi, an actor and bandoneon player. He created the group Demoliendo Tangos, combining music and humor for over a decade and up to the present. In the concert he will be supported by Christine Brebes, Raúl Di Renzo, Tomás Barrionuevo (violins), Gabriel Falconi (viola), Jorge Bergero y Myriam Santucci, (cello), Ricardo Cánepa (double bass), Germán Moine (clarinet), Fabián Aguiar (flute), Andrés Villaveirán (percussion), Luis Longhi, Eva Wolff, Gustavo Battistessa (bandoneons) and Guillermo Fernández and Chino Laborde’s voices.
