Tute - Lucero presentan Tangos nuevos's biography

From the lovely Bloomberg and Maciel’s waltzes to Manzi and Troilo’s ultimate work, both, lyrics and music authors constitute a whole body within tango: there were fleeting, lasting, famous and unknown couples. Now, Hernán Lucero and Tute take up again this working style, through eleven timeless tangos of their own, that they will be presenting live: music was composed by Lucero and lyrics belong to Tute. Although both of them have an intense artistic activity- Lucero is Bardos Cadeneros’ singer and Tute is a cartoonist, creator of the comic strip Batu, published by La Nación newspaper- they decided to enhance their project three years ago by writing tangos. In the concert, Lucero’s voice will be accompanied by the group formed by Ricardo Cánepa (double bass), Rubén Sloninsky (concertina), Ramón Maschio (guitar) and Carlos Morbidoni (violin) and directed by pianist Pablo Figuereda. Lidia Borda and Dolores Solá will be guest singers, together with pianist Germán Martínez; concurrently, Tute’s cartoons will be shown. This project was introduced in 2009 Festival and now it is presented in a CD called Tangos nuevos.
