Momusi Tango's biography
For over ten years, Momusi (Movimiento de Música para Niños- Music for Children Movement) has been developing a laudable task regarding music diffusion and teaching, as well as through concerts or through training seminars, development of educational programs, supporting the work of artists devoted to music for children and national meetings. Upon request of the Festival, Momusi will present a show especially created for the occasion: Pa’ los pibes y las pibas, with a selection of tangos, waltzes, milongas, candombes, poetry and dance, performed by Los Musiqueros, María Teresa Corral, Sonsonando and Graciela Pesce, and Daniel Viola as general coordinator. The repertoire is made up of his own works, such as tango “Anochece” (Ariel Zimbaldo - Oche Califa), candombe “Calunga” (Sonsonando), waltz “Manuelito” (Los Musiqueros), milongas “Quiero crecer con mi país” (María Teresa Corral) and “Te dije mamá, te dije” (Graciela Pesce).
