La Otra Vereda 's biography

As admirers of the typical orchestra Francini-Pontier, La Otra Vereda interprets dancing tango hits. Their instrumental repertoire includes “Recuerdo”, “La comparsita”, “Felicia”, “Danzarín”, “A Orlando Goñi”, “Adiós, Nonino” and, among the songs with lyrics, “Qué falta que me hacés”, “El último café”, “Trenzas” and “Barrio de Tango”, among others. With the direction of the violinist Carlos Gollucio, the quintet is formed by Gabriel Botta (piano), Alejo Urbani (double bass), Bruno Longoni (concertina), Juri Nakamura (violin) and Hugo Araujo (voice). One year after its creation in 2007, La Otra Vereda wins the contest Hugo del Carril as the Best Orchestra.
