Victoria Morán 's biography

A privileged voice, but simple and honest at the same time, Victoria is noted as a special artist. Milonga, waltz and tango of old times take part of a vintage repertory, but without a note of old thing. Her first record was Aquellas cartas, with guitars of Carlos Juárez. Her second record was together with Valetango Orchestra, Danza maligna. Now, Victoria performs songs from her next record, Mujer, featuring Horacio Avilano trio. Guitar player of Hugo Del Carril and Edmundo Rivero, Avilano shares completely Victoria`s style showing respect for the essence of the genre. He absorbed everything from the beginning: he is nephew of the great guitar player Héctor Arbelo, and started playing with him when he was 16 years old. The trio is formed by Horacio Avilano (first guitar), Hernán Fredes (second guitar) and Juan Avilano, Horacio`s nephew (guitarrón).
