Ariel Ardit presenta A los cantores's biography

For more than five years, Ariel Ardit was the singer of El Arranque, a group in which he revived old tangos, among them, "Mariposita", that were then hiding, putting them in focus again. He then continued as a solo singer and recorded two albums: Doble A and Ni más ni menos, in which together with a quartet he emphasized the musical tradition of the 1940’s, thus beginning a trip to the heart of the typical orchestra. As a logical corollary of this artistic development, he will now recall, through his voice and the company of an orchestra, the repertoire of the great singers that stood out during the tango golden times: Raúl Berón, Alberto Podestá, Floreal Ruiz, Francisco Fiorentino, Alberto Marino, Ángel Vargas and Roberto Rufino. The 36 year old singer from Córdoba already took the first step: on April 30th he recorded live at the ND Ateneo the album and DVD A los cantores. Now he will be giving the second step: he will present this album. Ariel Ardit will be accompanied by the pianist Andrés Linetzky, who leads a typical orchestra especially formed for this project.
