Noches de Recalada's biography

The Tango ConCiertos Atorrantes, the Sesiones de Tango at the Sanata Bar and the El Tango vuelve al Barrio, at the El Faro bar represent some of the vital tango meeting points in our City. In these spaces, new sounds that reflect a rebirth in tango are created. The Noches de Recalada, which we open for the first time in this Festival, will be hosted by some of its protagonists. There, spontaneous encounters will occur, there will be room for improvisation and new productions will be heard. Also, as part of these nights, the section Tango Garage comes back. Tango garage is a faithful reflection of the panorama of an emerging generation that has a garage band attitude and the ease to show their own creations, arrangements of classics and lyrics that offer a visceral reading on today´s tango. Rascasuelos, Chino Laborde, Dipi Kvitko and the special production Tangos Ricoteros will perform (for more information see Special productions and CD releases). The following will participate: Viceversa, Quasimodo, Nicolás Guerschberg, the trio Boero - Gallardo - Gómez, Quintet Sideral, El Descarte, Pablo Motta Quartet, Diego Schissi, “Moscato” with Cucuza Castiello, the Tangocontempo Association and there will be several surprises.
