César Angeleri y Amigos's biography

In this show that was just presented in Paris and has opened the First International Tango Festival of Montpellier, the guitarist César Angeleri presents traditional tangos and his own compositions. In addition to his solo performance in this event he is accompanied by Andrés Serafini (double bass), Rubén Lobo (percussion) plus the participation of the master Cristian Zárate (piano). Angeleri was the best new artist of the Cosquín Festival 1987 and currently integrates the Quintet Ventarrón and also forms duets with prestigious artists such as the concertina players Pablo Mainetti (with whom he recorded the album Complicidad), Daniel Binelli (Tango natural) and with the pianist Gustavo Task (Corta distancia). The titles of the albums are explanatory of Angeleri´s aesthetic search. He went on international tours accompanying Jaime Torres, Eduardo Falú, Oscar Cardozo Ocampo, Ariel Ramírez, Domingo Cura, Chango Nieto and Eduardo Lagos. Together with Mainetti he accompanied María Graña, Guillermo Fernández, Rubén Juarez and Julia Zenko.
