In the prelude of the Dance World Cup, a festive bustle fills the dance floor of the Meeting Point: enthusiasts mix with couples arrived from all over the world to participate in the competition, recognized masters and emblematic figures of tango-dance. The opening gala is an opportunity to celebrate the plurality in which acclaimed artists share their relevance with the spontaneous show the dance floor has to offer. The program includes performances of some of the most remarkable dance couples emerged during the last two decades, all of them exponents of diverse styles. Alejandra Mantiñan, Fernando Galera and Vilma Vega, Claudio González and Melina Brufman, Julio Balmaceda y Corina de la Rosa. The framework: a popular milonga hosted by expert DJ´s from the Buenos Aires circuit.
