TANGO Y TURF's biography

“Por una cabeza,” “Leguisamo solo,” “Palermo,” “Milonga burrera” and “Soy una fiera” are only some of the titles evoking that passion that is deeply rooted in the tango feeling. For many decades, Tango and turf prevailed as popular passions. Lyrics writers and music composers successfully portrayed that universe where luck, fate or the possibility of a safe bet may change history forever. Tango has expressed that passion and woven wonderful stories about relationship ups and downs. For this occasion, the Festival will gather some of the major figures of horse racing to recount their historical exploits, and a group of singers to perform an extensive, colorful repertoire.
