A typical orchestra from Brazil sets out on a trip to the roots of the genre. An exploration into the significance of the popular music that came to be part of the heritage of humanity. For ten years, De Puro Guapos has been performing and spreading the genre throughout Brazil, but now they need to learn all about Tango’s birthplace and current state after a century in the mecca of Buenos Aires. A puro gesto is a journey into the history and soul of the music, poetry and dance. Pubs, folk clubs, milongas, places and characters that, by now, not only make but are Tango.
