AMELITA BALTAR Y HORACIO MOLINA's biography

AMELITA BALTAR Y HORACIO MOLINA

Despite their different origins and aesthetics, Amelita Baltar and Horacio Molina share a common feature: a very personal style. The singing power of Amelita Baltar has been the ideal vehicle for the expression of the creative trio formed with Astor Piazzolla and Horacio Ferrer between the late 60s and early 70s. Also, with his telling voice and subtle phrasing, Horacio Molina belongs to the breed of austere singers who always express new nuances in their singing. During the concert, Baltar will sing the classics composed for her by Piazzolla and Ferrer; and Molina will do tango, waltz and milonga songs. But also, both artists will join on stage to perform a repertoire that will surprise the audience. Amelita will be accompanied by Aldo Saralegui (piano) and Sebastián Barbui (bass); and Horacio, by Pablo Fraguela (piano).
