34 PUÑALADAS PRESENTA DE LA BOLSA AL RUEDO's biography

34 PUÑALADAS PRESENTA DE LA BOLSA AL RUEDO

In 1998, when Tango reemerged after years of dormancy, one of the pioneering groups that revived the vocals-and-guitars ensemble was 34 puñaladas, which also focused on lunfardo (slang), underground and prison tango songs from the 20s and 30s. Between 2002 and 2006, they released three albums (Tangos carcelarios, Slang and Argot) in this same tone that defines their time as performers. Then, as they entered a new period, they put the focus on lyrics writing, reflected in the album Bombay Buenos Aires. Now, they will preview their new work, a DVD+CD set. The audiovisual material is a recording of a live show; while the CD includes songs from casual performances at rehearsal sessions, hotels, trips and even on stage, but have never been previously released. A wide repertoire featuring music by Gardel-Le Pera, Zitarrosa, Salgán, Huergo-San Clemente, and Pequeña Orquesta Reincidentes.
