Orquesta Típica la Andariega's biography

Orquesta Típica la Andariega

The adjective andariega (fond of walking) that completes the name of this orchestra born in 2009 could well summarize the biography of its director, the French pianist Pauline Nogues. Because the young Gallic woman’s (whose musical education is purely academic) regular trips to Buenos Aires made her fall in love with the city and, especially, with Tango, which led her to investigate the genre in France to later return and settle down in Argentina in 2007. With an energetic milonga-rooted style, the orchestra plays arrangements of traditional tangos as well as its own pieces.
