ConCiertos Atorrantes: Trío Boero- Gallardo-Gómez 's biography
Composed of Ramiro Boero (bandoneon and composition), Juan Pablo Gallardo (piano) and Manuel Gómez (double bass), this trio came out at the end of 2007. With its debut album, Tangología, the group showed audacity in Boero’s compositions and serious attachment to classical forms, without excluding modern touches though.
CONCIERTOS ATORRANTES
Conciertos Atorrantes is a weekly series of concerts offered at Sanata Bar, in the neighborhood of Almagro. More than 50 tango groups have performed between 2009 and 2011. Most of them are made up of young musicians who try—successfully—to give the genre not only a new space for creation, but also an aesthetic and artistic support that will be the model for creating similar cultural outlets.
