BERTERO BIG BAND TANGO's biography

Fabián Bertero presents his new project: the Bertero Big Band Tango. For this, he gathered twelve musicians and a singer of different ages, wrote a series of songs jointly with poets, and arranged traditional pieces. The result can be enjoyed during its presentation at the Festival. Under the direction of Bertero, the orchestra features María Laura Bertero, Manuel Quiroga, Juan Bringas and Gustavo Bertero (violins), and completing the string ensemble Carlos Ghirladi (viola) and Diego Sánchez (cello); also Pocho Palmer, Marco Antonio Fernández, Renato Venturini and Eleonora Ferreira (bandoneons); Miguel Pereiro (piano) and Nicolás Zacarías (double bass); and vocals by Alfredo Pittis. Bertero has a wide orchestral experience: he was part of the typical orchestras of Leopoldo Federico, José Colángelo, Osvaldo Piro and Daniel Binelli, among others.
