GABY, LA VOZ INTEPRETA A carlos DI SARLI's biography

The typical orchestra of Carlos Di Sarli was one of the most prominent in history, a favorite among dancers and admired by Aníbal Troilo, who spared no praise for them. Di Sarli’s rhythmic milonga style, no stranger to some influence of Osvaldo Fresedo, was especially marked by his personality as a pianist—the distinctive “loose notes” plunked by his left hand—and the exquisite austerity of the arrangements. Accompanied by the Trio of Norberto Vogel, Gaby “the sensual voice of tango” will perform a tribute concert to the great musician from Bahía Blanca. The show will also feature dancer Jesús Velázquez and Dr. Eduardo Giorlandini—member of the Academia Porteña del Lunfardo—who will give a lecture about the life and work of maestro Di Sarli, whose family will be present at the auditorium.
