Mora Godoy plays a vital role in the renewal of the genre. As a young and prolific choreographer, she has established her own brand of tango dance. Creator of the multi-awarded musical show Tanguera, she combined skill, speed, acrobatics and diverse techniques, blending together the outskirts-born sensuality with the contemporary language. The Company of Mora Godoy gives a high-energy performance on stage. The physical contact and the conscious awareness of every turn, every touch and every counterpoint are in the service of emotions. In her shows, she fuses tango, milonga, candombe, electronic music and even salsa, always opening up to new languages.
