NUEVOS TANGOS's biography

During the last years, the topic of lyrics renewal has been a focal point of debate in tango circles, bringing forward different views as to what kind of tango is to be sung today. This show is a possible answer: a look into only some of the many great tango songs created in the last decade. These pieces will be performed by a Typical Orchestra under the direction of Julián Peralta and sung by some representatives of the new song like Alejandro Guyot, Cucuza Castiello, Juan Subirá, Juan Villareal, Luciano Tobaldi, Miguel Suárez, Omar Mollo and Victoria di Raimondo. They will lend their voice to the following repertoire: “Algunos miran, otros hablan” (Juan Seren); “Cadencial” (Julián Peralta - Federico Maiocchi); “Capataz” (Julián Peralta - Alejandro Guyot); “El tango que no silbó” (Juan Subirá - Salvador Batalla); among others.
