Derek Cianfrance

A Production major from the University of Colorado, he wrote, directed and edited his first feature Brother Tied (1998) at age 23. He later directed many documentaries, especially musician portrays like Run-D.M.C. and Jam Master Jay: The Last Interview (2002) and Black and White: A Portrait of Sean Combs (2006).
