Joanna Lapinska

Bio

Born in Poland, she lives and works in Warsaw. She studied Psychology and Film. Since 2002 she has had several roles in the Era New Horizons International Film Festival, the biggest film event in Poland. First she was a member of the management team of the New Horizons Association, which organizes the festival, and she’s now the artistic director in charge of programming, guests, and industry related activities. She has also collaborated with Polish directors to plan the international promotion of their films, and since 2009 she works as an artistic advisor and head of international strategy at Munk Studio.
