This coming Saturday, the eighth edition of the Festival Internacional de Buenos Aires begins with a packed schedule of shows performed by 14 international companies and 34 national ones (including 9 never-before-staged plays) until Saturday, October 8. This week, individual tickets and five-show passes will continue to be on sale on this website or, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m, at the following point-of-sale locations: Teatro San Martín (Av. Corrientes 1530) and Casa de la Cultura (Av. de Mayo 575). The top-quality, varied program will allow to enjoy the best and the newest of the Argentine theater scene as well as plays by prestigious companies from Germany, Brazil, Chile, Spain, France, United Kingdom, Mexico, Swiss and Uruguay. Apart from theater and dance, another programming highlight is the concert by Spanish artist Estrella Morente (photo) this Monday 26 at the Teatro Coliseo (M. T. de Alvear 1125).

There are 6 different passes including tickets to see four international shows (orchestra seats only) and a free-of charge ticket to enjoy the premiere of a national production from the Contest of Theater Projects of FIBA 2011 (subject to availability).
