The German stage production “Ich schau dir in die Augen, gesellschaftlicher Verblendungszusammenhang!” (I look into your eyes, social context of blindness) offers an irresistible combination: its playwright, René Pollesch, is one of today’s most important theater directors; its lead actor, Fabian Hinrichs, stands out for his physical and gestural performance; and the Volksbühne am Rosa-Luxemburg-Platz company is emblematic of the European theater scene. It will be staged on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at 8 p.m., and Sunday 2 at 5 p.m. at the Teatro Presidente Alvear. There are tickets available starting at 30 pesos, on sale at this website or at point-of-sale locations: La Casa de la Cultura (Av. de Mayo 575) and Teatro San Martín (Corrientes 1530), from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
