GENDER RECOGNITION

Tonight at the Sala Casacuberta of Teatro San Martín, the irreverent Spanish actress, director and playwright Angélica Liddell will perform her solo show Yo no soy bonita, a provocative response to what the author and leading actress calls “a misogynist, androcentric society.” There are tickets available for tonight, Sunday, which can be purchased on this website or in person at Teatro San Martín (Av. Corrientes 1530), from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Liddel will also give an open talk titled “Angélica Liddell y su concepción sobre el teatro”, tomorrow – Monday – at 11 a.m. at Casa de la Cultura. The discussion will be moderated by Argentine actor and director Matías Umpierrez; the audience will be allowed to make questions; and admission is free (subject to room capacity).
