COMMON REALITIES AND EXPECTATIONS
The talk titled “Vinculaciones entre festivales, productores, curadores y artistas” (Relations between festivals, producers, curators and artists) – to be held today, Tuesday, at 11.30 a.m. at Teatro San Martín, with free admission – will aim at finding common ground between the type of search carried out by producers and festivals and artists’ expectations. The meeting will feature the participation of Gerardo Kleinburg (Mexico), Guillermo Heras (Spain), Carolina Pecheny (France), Guillermo Gallardo Prat (Chile), Guy Pierre Couleau (France) and Argentine Joaquín Bonet and Luis Garay. It will be moderated by artist and cultural manager Alberto Ligaluppi.
Each producer and curator, from their role at the institution they belong to, will reveal their way to approach artists, some limitations to bear in mind, and the type of search conducted. Artists, on their part, will talk about how they get in contact with international producers and festivals, how they present their work and how they work in accordance with certain standard criteria valid for this type of events.
