PWR3

This band is made up of three historic musicians of vast career: Lito Epumer (guitar), Machi Rufino (bass) and Cristian Judurcha (drums), who are just about to release their first live album.

Lito Epumer is a renowned guitarist who founded Madre Atómica in 1975 along with ‘Mono’ Fontana and Pedro Aznar, and has ever since engaged in projects of other musicians such as Luis Alberto Spinetta (Spinetta Jade), Lito Vitale (Cuarteto), Rubén Rada, Alfredo Casero (Halibour Fiberglass Sereneiders), brothers Hugo and Osvaldo Fatorusso, Dino Saluzzi and the Allen YoungBlood Quartet.

The name Carlos Alberto ‘Machi’ Rufino is etched in the history of Argentine rock: he was a member of the legendary Pappo’s Blues between 1972 and 1973. In November that year he debuted with another prominent formation: Invisible, along with Luis Alberto Spinetta and Pomo, giving rise to Invisible, Durazno Sangrando and El Jardín de los Presentes. Later on, he took part in other projects by Spinetta, among them the albums A 18’ del Sol, Mondo di Cromo, La, La, La (with Fito Páez), Tester de Violencia and Fuego Gris. ‘Machi’ has also shared music with jazz masters: Baby López Fürst, Jorge Navarro, Luis Cerávolo, Santiago Giacobbe, Norberto Minichillo, Horacio Larumbe and many others.

As to Cristian Judurcha, he has also rubbed musical elbows with many big names such as Pedro Aznar, Lito Vitale Cuarteto, Mono Fontana, Antonio Birabent, Claudia Puyó, Sandra Mihanovich, Patricia Sosa, Silvina Garré, Alejandro Lerner and David Lebón.
