Extra Information

Fernando Tarrés presents Todo Buenos Aires, the album that shows his work paying tribute to Astor Piazzolla. This work was commissioned to Tarrés by the Festival Buenos Aires Jazz 2009.
Piazzolla’s work as well as jazz can be qualified as modern, urban, lyrical, dark, aggressive, intellectual as well as visceral. One doubt remains: is it possible to do something with Piazzolla’s music that he himself has not done? Tarrés is, due to his own musical universe, one of the artists with best chances of success in this task.
