Rodrigo Domínguez's biography
He is one of the most active musicians of the Buenos Aires jazz scene. He has studied and played with famous local musicians, as well as Wayne Shorter, Jerry Bergonzi, Walt Weiskopf, Chris Potter, Tony Malaby, Branford and Wynton Marsalis, Pat Metheny, Herbie Hancock, Phil Markowitz, Marc Copland, Hal Crook and Ed Tomassi, among others. He was founder member of the legendary Quinteto Urbano. He participated in the recording of Proyecto Piazzolla that the Buenos Aires Jazz 2009 International Festival put in the hands of Fernando Tarrés. At the same time, while he plays with Ernesto Jodos, Mariano Otero and Sergio Verdinelli, among others, he also leads his own group with which he released a new work Soy sauce where he does a cover version of Luis Alberto Spinetta music. Meanwhile, he has made tours in many other American and European countries.
